Preparing for B-BALL

My goal is to get fit over the christmas holidays and continue working out. How?? i have this fitnest program called INSANITY and its realy good, i did it last year and i lost 20 pounds. So im going to do it again and hopefully get a beach body like it advertises. But i also want to get in shape for basket ball because i know its coming up soon and i dont whant to be the the outkast of the team. Iv'e also been playing at home with my brother and friends. so hopefully i will acomplish this. I realy recomend it if you want to get fit.

Update on song

I finally finished my lyrics for my song, im not sure if its long enough but i hope its atleast 3 minutes.
All i need now is a beat and maybe if its too short il ask my friend to add a verse to it and rap.
I will upload it to youtube and see whats the feedback i get.

global issues, my contribution

When i was at home in my living room, doing some homework, i took a break and watched a little of television. After changing channels i found a documentary on global issues, mostly on how we contribute to global warming . I found out that most of the carbon in our atmoshpere has increased because of humans, this was also interesting because this was what i am studying in class. After telling my parent how us human are being oblivious to what we are doing to our home planet, i when everywhere in the house and turned of the lights and all the aic conditioners and fans. I felt like i was in controle, being able to help and be part of a mouvement. I even took a cold shawer this morning, but after i got out i ran to my bed to warm up. But im sure il get used to it.
Enyway if you wanna help future generations and spicies in danger please take do something ecological and green. you never know 2012 might be true....only time can tell!!

PaRaDiSe

Sri lanka is a very beautifull country once you leave the city and entre the sud coast. Every week-end me and my family explore the island and go to different beaches . The water is warm, the waves are big and the women are beautifull. After a nice swim in the ocean I lounge in my chair  and enjoy sceenerie. A coconut in one hand and delicious seafood in the other. I'd say life couldn't get eny better. As the week-days pass by i get more and more exited to escape reality and its problems. I cant wait to see where we are going next week-end :D

Fiddler on the roof

This week is performence week. We are performing wenesday and thursday. Im exited but realy streesed , im afraid to forget my lines and fail. Anyway we have are costumes ready and all the technical  issues have been fixed. Fiddle on the roof is my first real play, it wouldnt be my first choice, because its a musical, but its a challenge and ive enjoyed rehersing it. I hope meny people come to the play and see how hard the cast has been working. Hopefully they wont laugh at me but im expecting a couple to do so. I cant wait till this weekend, it will be the first time in a long time that i will have saturday and sunday off.  I will post photos of rehersals as soon as posible.

For habitat, the leaders spoke to us about donation,we had the choice between a blind family or donating the shoes to kids. so we voted and we all chose the blind family and created a plan to raise money.
heres the plan:
Me and esfart (create a candy gram song )
Vera: get candy canes to sell and raise money
Others have to sell and bring santa hats for the deliveries.
Its cool that i have to come up with a pg song about candy. its gonna be a challenge .
about the blind family-> The father has a heart desease, so he cannot do enything fisical or he will collaps. The mother has a brain sickness and is going blind very slowly, since it is hedetary, the children just learned that they have it too. they are trying to get money to build a home, they allready got the foundation of it but have run out of money. So this is where we come in and raise money for them.

My Music

I am now working on producing my own song and if all goes well i will probably continue. My goal is to actually make a song before i turn 16, its been one of my dreams for many years now and i'm getting frustrated not being able to accomplish what is it i really want. I've already collected a beat from my brother's friend and lyrics are the issue because i'm not sure what i want to say in my song. I'm also hoping to find a girl with a nice voice for my chorus. Anyway, this is my project right now , oh and if you're wondering i'm going to do a hip-hop/rap song.

T.O.K

In this class we have been talking about senses and emotions. We have 5 senses: touch, smell, hear, feel, taste And a various quantity of emotions. This class is my favorite so far because it is actualy related to life and what u do everday. Its a very usefull class and seems important. We only have this class maybe once a week, it's a shame because it would of been cool if we had it more often.

Drama Production

Our performance is comming together very well, and the due date is very soon. We have rehersals every monday and saturday, sometimes i have some extras ones during the week, but thats just me because i am the lead role. It's pretty stressfull when people have high expectations of you and your trying your best to satisfy them. Life is unfair sometimes.... Enw the cast and crew are putting sweat and blood for this project and cant wait this november 17th (performance night)

Movie Night

On friday, september 24th, we ,Habitat for humanity , hosted a movie night for the young primary kids at the auditorium. They had th coice to either donate a pair of shoes or give money to support the cause. We collected over 40 pairs. This was realy succesfull, we had about 60 kids to take care of. This was a bit of a challenge but a nice experience. We displayed the movies: Cars 2 and Kung fu panda 2. For snacks, we gave them bags of popcorn and a variation of juices. At the end of this event i was exausted , but i was for a good cause. I cant wait for the next event.

Sports Day

sports day was the most fun ive had at school since i got here, it was realy nice seing the whole school in gym cheering each other one in every sport. I wasn't that great in football, but our team still won.i hope that there are meny more activitys like this during the year.over all it was a great day and enjoyed it very much.

CAS objectives

In the next two years, my goal is to do habitat, play basket-ball and be in drama performences. For habitat, my goal is to complet the requirements and try to do my best to become leader next year. Also  help people which are needed a new home or establishment. For basket, i hope to just have fun and encourage my team. In drama, the objective i set myself to is to be in every play there is and maybe if i can, be the leader for that.
